After several years of working in an office I left and became a stay-at-home mother. The transition enabled me to explore my life long interest in fashion and beauty. I wanted to find a way to tap into my creativity and develop a business I could run from my home.
One of the projects I explored was the design and handcrafting of unique jewelry. I discovered a passion for developing different color and gem combinations, and creation of unique settings. Friends and family complimented me about my designs and were excited to wear my jewelry. They encouraged me to start a business and what started as a “dining room table” hobby evolved into WEM Designs.
